Edward Meyen is a Professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas and the Co-director for the e-learning Design Lab. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Iowa in Education. Dr. Meyen has directed federally funded projects totaling in excess of 24 million dollars conducting research and model development pertaining to the education and support of handicapped children. Dr. Meyen has also developed six computer software programs. He produced five films covering teaching of special education children. Dr. Meyen serves on eight editorial boards and 28 professional committees including Who’s Who in American Education and the Co-Chair of the Lawrence, KS Chamber of Commerce, Education Task Force.
