Hotel

The conference will be held at the Oread Hotel, and there are room blocks and specials for the Oread, Spring Hill Suites, Townplace Suites, and The Hampton Inn. Please visit the Hotel Information tab for more information about the room blocks and specials. There will be another large conference in town during our conference so please make your hotel reservations early!

Parking 

The Oread has 200 covered valet parking spaces underneath the hotel.  Event parking at The Oread is $5/car for guests attending the event and $15/car for overnight guests.  The Kansas Union Parking Garage is 1/2 block south of the hotel with additional 800 parking spaces.  Parking is $1.75 for the first hour, $1.50/hour for each subsequent hour.  Receive a ticket at the gate of the garage.  To exit, feed the ticket into the ticket slot on the left.  Wait for the screen to display the amount owed, then insert credit card into slot on the right.  Be sure to push the receipt button while it is lit if you need a receipt.  You may pay with cash on the 4th floor of the South garage stair tower. You will receive an exit voucher to use at the gate.  DO NOT PARK in the apartment lots adjacent to the hotel.  You will be towed.
