Using Visuals to Support Independence in the Workplace
This poster will describe the use of visuals to support the independence of students with disabilities in the workplace. Directed at secondary special educators and transition specialists, this poster has two aims: (1) describe workplace domains where visuals can be implemented, and (2) outline types of visuals used to support workplace independence. Attendees will walk away understanding how to increase their student's independence in the workplace.
