Corey has 24 years of experience in education. He spent 17 years teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. The past 7 years he has been the Instructional Facilitator at Douglas Primary School. He holds his bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University and a master’s degree from Lesley College.

Corey has presented at the following conferences: Silverback Summit, NWEA Fusion Conference, AdvancEd (Wyoming Department of Education), WAVE (Week of Academic Vision and Excellence) and Gear Up (Sponsored by the University of Wyoming). Corey received the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Award in 2003.

Over the past five years Corey and his staff have used video for self-reflection. They have developed this process into a powerful practice to improve teaching and learning at Douglas Primary School.

Corey is very excited to share his share thoughts and experiences with you.
