Elise Heger has been involved in public education for the past 15 years. She has served at the classroom, building, and district level. Ms. Heger is currently an Associate Researcher at the KU Center for Research on Learning and a doctoral candidate at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. Her research focus is on instructional pedagogies that develop non-cognitive skills such as perseverance in students.
