School Evaluation and Improvement Services
The Advanced Learning Technologies in Education Consortium (ALTEC) (a division of the CRL) supports the instructional integration of technology in K-12 Schools by providing external evaluation services. They have evaluated programs such as the Kansas State Department of Education's Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Title II initiative (2003-2012), the CyberTEAMS Program funded the Department of Defense Education Activity, and grant awards from the National Science Foundation.
The Professional Development Research Institute (PDRI) (another division of the CRL) can work with your school/teachers to evaluate what Strategic Instruction Model (SIM™) interventions would work best for the needs of your school, classroom, and students. Fill out this Request for Professional Learning Form to get started.
The Research Collaboration Group (another group with the KU Life Span Institute) conducts educational research through numerous projects that range from large-scale evaluation of professional development impact to providing systematic professional development that promotes college and career readiness competencies.
