Resources Overview

KUCRL works with schools and communities, classroom teachers, students, and service organizations to tackle the serious challenges of improving literacy and learning.  We have conducted extensive research on the type of instruction needed to ensure that students are ready for and can succeed in school, college, work and in life. Based on our research results, we develop products that teachers, students, parents and schools can use successfully to improve student achievement.

Our Interventions & Programs include comprehensive reading programs, social & emotional learning supports, and the Strategic Instruction Model Learning Strategies and Content Enhancement Routines to address student needs. Our Services include the Blended Instructional Design course for teachers, games for online learning for students, and school evaluation and improvement services. Our Professional Learning component consists of both Instructional Coaching, using technology to engage learners and SIM Professional Development and micro-credentialing for educators. In addition, we have a number of Presentations by faculty and staff at KUCRL available for you to view online.
